  I went from a 1975 IH Scout, my first truck, to the 2500HD. So it rides like a Cadillac, to me anyway. I like the ride to be a little stiff, it makes me feel connected to the rode. For those who say it rides too rough, did you test drive it? And do you realize what this truck is intended for? Get a 1500 if you want a smooth ride. The 6.0L is very strong but I would like a little more "get up and go". The interior quality could be stepped up a little also. The turning radius is decent and stock exhaust is throaty. Definitely recommend this truck if it serves your purpose.

  I use the truck to travel and to haul equipment and it is the best truck in my book compared to the ford F350 and the dodge 2500 i test drove them both and out of all the diesals it is the best

  Purchased this to pull a 5th wheel. Has all the capabilities to do what I wanted. Better ride and interior than I expected in a 3/4 ton. Gas mileage is about 13 now but only have 1500 miles in it. May improve. Have not been back to the dealer yet with any complaints. Can tell more later.

  Have driven this truck for 1 year. Pull an 8000-pound 5th wheel camper with it. Ride is good for 2500 truck. Handles the weight real well. Power is good for small block gas engine. Clutch slave cylinder failed at 10000 miles.

  2500Hd w/Duramax and Allison transmission is the most reliable and sensible combination for a working truck. If you want trouble-free dependability with power and engine assisted braking for safety and complete control of your vehicle when hauling heavy loads... Theres nothing better. Dont pass up this pricey drive combination for glitzy interiors that dont get the real job done, Its a "Winner" with a Capital "W".

  Super reliable truck with a great ride despite being heavy duty (2500HD). Will pull large equipment trailer with no problem while carrying a load.
